    Control and strength in your lower leg is essential to being an effective cyclist. The following exercises will benefit cyclists of all skill levels as they will help you become more symmetrical in your leg strength. If you are weaker in one leg, you will usually find that leg is tighter on the horse because you lack stability.

    Exercise 1: extension of the hips on the ball

    This helps you strengthen your glutes and lower back in conjunction with the hamstrings. This will improve your ability to extend your leg from the hip while keeping the lower spine stabilized.

    These exercises will increase the strength of your quadriceps and glutes, which are essential for jumping and high-speed cross-country.

In a sport largely foreign to the masses, Mangaluru has played host to some of the country’s best talent ever produced, and aside from many other sports, the coastal city has many who have adopted horseback riding as a sport, and thanks to Mangaluru Horse Riding Academy (MHRA), and the young man behind this academy is Avinand Anchanahally, 30 years old. .

    It should be noted that when Avinand Anchanahalli was doing his High School Leaving Diploma (MSW) in Roshni Nilya, Mangaluru, he rode to college daily, making a difference in society to raise awareness about pollution, save money. fuel and energy, and spread the message about caring for animals and keeping society green and healthy. Originally from Mudigere, he did most of his schooling in Bangalore, but received his university education at St Aloysius College, Mangaluru.     Avinand has a great love for animals and birds, he has a great variety of birds, a few well behaved dogs and now owns a couple of horses. Since childhood Avinand had a passion for horses since his family then owned horses.     After college, now working at MCF in the human resources department, Avinand had established a Riding Academy in Mangaluru five years ago and had trained over 700 young and old in horseback riding.     Philadelphia’s “Concrete Cowboys” have a new home in neighboring New Jersey while their own new equestrian center is being developed.

    The use of Dream Park in Logan Township, 20 minutes away, allows the Philadelphia Urban Riding Academy (PURA) to launch its flagship programs this month. The new temporary base has been established with the help of Irish rider Kevin Babington, Missy Clark of North Run Farm and Dream Park manager Flossie Ale, and will remain the home of PURA until the new Cobbs facility.     Daily Reporter: What is your band’s mission?

    Jennifer Wright: Agape cultivates personal growth by empowering mind, body, and spirit through unique horse-facilitated experiences.

    DR: Who do you serve?

    JW: Agape East is on the west side of Greenfield off US 40. Agape is a unique resource for individuals, families, community organizations, schools, and medical/mental health professionals. Through our horse-assisted programs, Agape positively impacts the physical, cognitive, behavioral, social and emotional challenges of people with special needs and at-risk youth. It is Agape’s vision that those in need experience healing and joy in an environment where unconditional love and the wonder of a horse combine to create a haven of unbridled hope. What began in 1986 to serve a handful of students each summer has grown into a beautiful and thriving organization serving thousands of people through horse-assisted activities and therapy. At Agape, you learn a little about horses and a lot about life.

    DR: How did it start?

    JW: Agape is a Greek word meaning “unconditional love”. Cheryl Miller and her daughter Dawn founded Agape on this idea in 1986 as a summer therapeutic riding program for children with disabilities. In March 1994, two years after Dawn’s tragic death, Cheryl started a full-time program. It was a dream come true for the Millers, and their dream continues to meet the tremendous demand from parents and therapists who witness the miraculous successes of the program. Today, Agape serves over 1,900 children and adults through our unique horse-assisted programs.

    DR: What is the biggest challenge for your band?

    JW: Agape relies heavily on our network of volunteers to help our program thrive. Agape serves many people in addition to taking care of horses and facilities. It takes a small army to deal with all of this, and we’re always looking for more volunteers. If you’re looking for a place to make a difference, Agape is a great place to hang out. Each rider is assigned a volunteer Master Rider to help prepare their horse and handle their horse in a lesson. Many of our riders need the support of a side walker. Lateral walkers work with cyclists to provide emotional, educational and physical support. There are also many volunteer opportunities around our properties for grounds and stable volunteers. These volunteers help maintain the beauty and safety of our buildings and properties.

    DR: What are your main events or fundraisers?

    JW: Agape offers many different fundraising opportunities! From becoming a monthly recurring donor in our Saddle Club program, to sponsoring a horse, and our annual Boots and Bowties fundraising grand gala. Proceeds from Boots & Bowties and all of our fundraisers will be used to support Agape’s program costs and the Cyclist Support Fund. It costs Agape $272 per hour of programming to provide our horse-assisted services. Participants pay approximately 20% of this cost. Fundraising efforts like Boots & Bowties allow us to make the difference and keep our service fees as low as possible for families.

    Prince Andrew is seen joking as his lawyers prepare to launch a final attempt on Monday to have his sexual abuse case dismissed.

    The Duke of York was seen riding a horse on the estate near the Queen’s Windsor Castle home, chuckling with two employees of the palace stables.

    His new Hollywood star lawyer Andrew Brettler is in place to meet the deadline set by a New York court by the end of the day, responding to allegations the Duke sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl in 2001.

    However, Andrew is still expected to be forced to face a civil lawsuit in the United States against his accuser Virginia Giuffre, who claims she was forced to have sex with the royal three times in 2001. .

    Ms Giuffre, now 38, was reportedly trafficked around the world by Andrew’s late pedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein, who committed suicide in a jail cell last year while he was waiting his trial for a catalog of sex crimes.

    The Duke’s legal team previously called her a money thief pursuing the Queen’s son “for another salary at his expense”.

    Ms Giuffre accused the Duke of sexually assaulting her at Epstein’s Manhattan mansion as well as on his private Caribbean island, Epstein, and at the London home of his lover Ghislaine Maxwell who is currently in a New York prison in pending charges of sexual abuse and grooming.

    She seeks damages for emotional harm and distress which could run into the millions of pounds if successful.

    A spectator who saw the Duke on horseback on Monday said: ‘Considering he faces a civil lawsuit over very serious allegations, it seemed like he didn’t care about the world.

    “He was laughing and joking with his riding mates and having fun.”

    US Judge Lewis Kaplan will review the prosecution’s two arguments for the last time on January 4 and is expected to request a trial next fall.

    Sources close to the Duke revealed that he had recently “stayed up late” and “worked on US time” to speak to his California-based lawyers.

    Preparations for the Duke’s case have also been marred by internal feuds between his British lawyer Gary Bloxsome and Mr Brettler, allegedly due to a “serious clash of personalities”.

    Mr Brettler was reportedly “totally unimpressed with the situation” when he was hired at the eleventh hour in October after Andrew failed to dismiss the abuse allegations against him, sources have revealed.

    Meanwhile, it emerged on Sunday that Prince Andrew had had ‘little to no discussion’ about his legal issues with members of the Royal Family, including the 95-year-old Queen who agreed to pay her very expensive legal bills. .

    Until recently, Andrew had “remained totally convinced” that he would still be able to join Her Majesty and the rest of the family for the public celebrations of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

    But determined Royal Assistants will not appear at any public event or join them on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for an RAF flypast.

    For non-members, you can go horseback riding if you stay within 10 km of your home, keep a distance of two meters between yourself and other people, and do not gather in a group of more than six people.

    You can either take proof of address with you – read our article on eligible proofs here – or complete a travel declaration, by checking the option: Physical activity, outdoor activities, walks (within a radius of 10 kilometers from your home).

    If you are a member of the FFE, you can drive anywhere in the department where you live or within 30 km of your home if you cross a different department because you live near the border.

    In this case, you will need to bring two forms.

    The first is the official government attestation, the same form as mentioned above. However, this time you have to choose the option: Health (consultations and care).

    You will also need a certificate which will be provided to you by your equestrian center.
